The British Sociological Association (BSA) have recently published a blog written by Dr Stephen Burrell about our Now and Men podcast on their Everyday Society website. The piece reflects on what we’ve learnt so far since we set up the podcast in July 2021, and discusses how podcasting can provide a valuable way of attempting to do ‘public sociology’, based on our experience of talking about men and masculinities with a range of different experts.
